The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) Fires Another Executive

Deadline is reporting that the revolving door at the struggling OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network continues without slowing, and even without warning or public announcement. 

This time it has claimed one of Oprah Winfrey’s closest and most trusted executives, Lisa Erspamer.

Deadline has learned that Erspamer, EVP of production and development for OWN, was let go yesterday after an 18-year tenure with Winfrey.  The firing may have been a little cold-blooded, as Ms. Winfrey was out of the country taping an interview with Deepak Chopra in India.
