Looking for the Fountain of Youth?  It’s closer than you think!  Just incorporate these simple practices into your daily routine: 

  • Walk for 30 minutes per day: If you can’t take the time to do it all at once, experts state that you can break it into two 15-minute or three 10-minute sessions. It doesn’t matter which way you do it, you just need to get your body moving and your heart rate pumping! The experts say that your goal should be 10,000 steps a day. 
  • Take a good multivitamin: Since the foods we eat don’t have as many nutrients as they used to, a good multivitamin is absolutely necessary for good nutrition and to keep the free radicals at bay. 
  • Floss and brush every day: In addition to brushing, flossing is essential to prevent plaque buildup, which could lead to gingivitis or periodontal disease.  Bacteria buildup in the mouth can also cause heart disease. 
  • Drink plenty of water: In addition to hydrating the body, water helps to flush out toxins. 
  • Meditate for five minutes: Stress that isn’t managed well could certainly make you look older than your years; so take a moment to decompress. 
  • Have plenty of sex with a loving partner: need we say more. 
  • Sleep for 7-8 hours every night: Most Americans don’t get the recommended seven to eight hours of sleep per night.  We are truly a sleep deprived nation.  So after sex, get some sleep, it is necessary for the body to renew and repair. You will look younger in the morning.
